So, there is a party tonight, but that is not stopping me from making a post to point out that it's Jake's birthday so everyone should worship him.

I'm bringing my father to the Camdens' – he's afraid. It's kind of funny. But he has to meet Avery's mum, since she helped me so much a couple months ago (and still is, but especially then).

Now I've got to make myself look pretty and fix my mask.

I swear I was tricked into this!

But anyway, apparently people who start blogs like to have introduction posts! So this is mine. I got forced to join LiveJournal by my neighbors, because they thought I should and I jokingly checked to see if the username "bombarding" was taken, because I always joke that I'm bombarding people when playing my bombarde, and it wasn't, so I was stuck in getting it.

I'm Zoë. I live in South Africa and play for the Cape Philharmonic Orchestra (the oboe, not the bombarde, there's no bombarde in the orchestra at all). Technically I'm from Canada.

The icon is of my cat Scoop, who has a much prettier face than I.
